ohmydocument Terms of Service

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms govern access to and use of ohmydocument, including document upload, OCR or file interpretation, extracted-value review, source evidence management, audit trail preservation, external integrations, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts and administration

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. Administrator approval, email verification, or additional authentication may be required. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.

3. Permitted use

You may use the service only for lawful business purposes and within the permissions assigned to you. You must not interfere with service operations, bypass security controls, overload the system, or infringe the rights of others.

4. Customer data and audit records

Uploaded documents, extracted values, correction reasons, approvals, exceptions, and integration execution records are customer data used to provide the service, manage evidence, and preserve audit trails. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and process the documents and data you submit.

5. Third-party integrations

If you connect Google Drive, Google Sheets, or another third-party service, that service's terms and permission settings also apply. Integrations may fail or be delayed because of third-party outages, token expiration, revoked permissions, or user configuration errors.

6. Google APIs and Google user data

If you connect a Google Account or Google Workspace integration, ohmydocument accesses and uses only the minimum Google user data necessary to provide the features you explicitly select.

• Google sign-in may use your email address, profile identifier, and display name to identify your account and complete sign-in.
• Google Drive integrations are used to identify folders or files you select and to perform document uploads or file updates you request.
• Google Sheets integrations are used to read metadata and cell values from spreadsheets and sheet tabs you select, and to write finalized document data to the location you choose.
• ohmydocument does not use Google user data for advertising, sale, third-party marketing, or purposes unrelated to providing Google API-powered features.
• You may disconnect your Google Account in the service or revoke access from your Google Account security settings. If access is revoked, the affected integration features may stop working.

7. Plans, fees, and usage limits

Paid plans, usage limits, billing cycles, upgrades, downgrades, cancellation, and payment terms are described in the service interface or applicable order terms. Features may be limited if usage limits are exceeded or payment fails.

8. Prohibited use

You must not use the service to process unlawful material, access another user's account, probe security vulnerabilities, reverse engineer the service, send excessive automated requests, infringe third-party rights, or violate applicable law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access if there is a Terms violation, security risk, payment failure, legal requirement, or material operational concern. You may cancel according to the procedures made available in the service and may request export of available customer data where supported.

10. Changes to the service or Terms

We may modify the service or these Terms to reflect legal changes, security needs, feature improvements, or operational requirements. Material changes will be notified by a reasonable method before they take effect.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ohmydocument is not liable for damages caused by user configuration errors, third-party service failures, network outages, force majeure, or inaccuracies in data uploaded or entered by users, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are interpreted under the governing law applicable to the contracting entity or service operator. The parties will first try to resolve disputes in good faith, and unresolved disputes will be handled under the applicable venue or dispute-resolution rules.
